Pakistani Official Reiterates Brotherly Ties with Iran
TEHRAN (FNA)- Speaker of Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhaw Assembly Kiramatullah Khan described Iran and Pakistan as two Muslim nations with brotherly ties, and urged for the further expansion of cooperation between the two states.

He expressed these views in a meeting with Iranian Consul General in Peshawar Hassan Darvaish Wand, who called on him at his office on Thursday. Kiramatullah Khan said Iran and Pakistan are two brethren Muslim countries tied in inseparable bonds of brotherhood and friendship. He said that exchange of delegations between the two neighboring countries has strengthened the time-tested bonds between Iran and Pakistan and brought the two peoples even closer. Pakistan’s Khyber-Pakhtunkhaw province has recently been seeking hard to expand ties with Iran. The Iranian consul general has recently had an increasing number of meetings with the officials of the province.
